Horizon - Death of the Working Classes

This programme looks at the various theories as to why working class people are much more likely to suffer ill health and die young than those in professional classes. These theories range from personal behaviour, poverty, deprivation, stress, social environment and (bizarrely) genes. It is filmed in Newcastle and Burnley and includes interviews with people living in the area.
