Football Legends - Jimmy Greaves

Legendary centre-forward Jimmy Greaves discusses his playing career at Chelsea, Spurs, AC Milan and West Ham, his problems with the bottle and what it felt like to be left on the bench as England stormed to World Cup victory in July 1966. Jimmy Greaves was the first-choice striker for England during the 1966 World Cup, and played in the first three games before being sidelined after sustaining a leg injury while playing against France. He had to endure the bitter disappointment of not being able to take part and watching his replacement, Geoff Hurst, score the hat-trick that gave England the tournament.
