Cold Warrior

Cuban exile Felix Rodriguez's crusade against Castro began with the invasion of the Bay of Pigs in 1961 and has since included attempts on Castro's life and many anti-communist actions as a CIA agent. Perhaps the pivotal moment of this career was his role in the execution of Che Guevara.

Through candid interviews with the man himself, his family and targets (including FMLN guerrilla Nidia Diaz), this programme provides an intriguing insight into the part played by one of Castro's opponents. Since the 1959 Cuban revolution, Felix Rodriguez has assisted in many anti-communist actions, including training Nicaraguan Contras and advising Argentina's military government during the 1980s.
