Isla Genovesa, Galápagos
Wavewash and birds on the beach and mangroves of Isla Genovesa, Galápagos. The island is uninhabited but is home to lots of tropical birds. Red footed boobies and Great frigate birds nest on the beach and in nearby mangroves, their voices mixing and merging with the slow rhythms of Pacific wave wash across a white sandy beach.
A fascinating and evocative audio portrait of the Galapagos Islands, by sound recordist Chris Watson.
