AI is a powerful tool, and with power comes responsibility. In the UK, regulation of AI-based technologies is coming down the track but already organisations are designing and defining their approach to its use.
A new role is springing up in organisations: that of overseeing a company’s responsible use of AI. Getting ahead of the regulators by crafting clear ethical company guidelines enhances a brand’s reputation as trustworthy and transparent whilst also being innovative and creative. If a company isn’t trusted, the public will simply go elsewhere.
