Self shooting an interview

Kat Macaulay from the BBC Academy gives her tips on setting up and directing interviews.

She says that making your interviewee as comfortable as possible is paramount, because it'll lead to more interesting and engaging answers.

The preparation you make before they arrive is a key part of this: if you have everything in place and planned out, by the time they arrive, you'll appear organised and professional. This can transfer confidence to your contributor.
