| Sunday, 22 December, 2002, 16:24 GMT Child dies, seven others hurt in crash ![]() The accident took place at Dulas A child has died, and seven other people - including four children - have been injured in a road crash in north Wales. The accident, involving three vehicles, took place on the A5025 at Dulas, Amlwch in Anglesey shortly after 1300GMT on Sunday. The child who died was travelling in a BMW car and died at the scene. Another child from the same car was accompanied by a doctor and flown by RAF helicopter to Alderhay hospital. An adult and two children, also from the BMW, were taken by ambulance to Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor, where their condition is critical. A man and a boy from a Nova car were also taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd Hospital in Bangor where they are in a critical condition. The driver of the third vehicle escaped unharmed. The reasons for the crash are as yet unknown. Police in Caernarfon say most of the people involved in the collision are from the local are although one casualty is from South Wales. Family liaison officers have been appointed. Three fire engines, five ambulances, as well as police and an RAF helicopter, attended the incident. All the casualties are suspected to have broken limbs and other injuries. The dead child is believed to be a girl.
