Man dragged by mail lorry dies

A man has been killed after apparently being dragged along the road by a Royal Mail lorry on Friday.

The incident happened at a sorting office depot in Tremains Road in Bridgend, south Wales.

The victim, is thought to have been elderly and partially sighted.

It is believed that he was dragged out onto the road by the lorry.

The man was taken to the Princess of Wales Hospital in Bridgend but was pronounced dead on arrival.

The emergency services were called to the scene shortly before 1400 BST.
