Seized pipe bombs made safe
Army bomb experts made the pipe bombs safe
Army bomb experts made the pipe bombs safe
Police in County Antrim have found a number of pipe bombs.

They were found in a hedgerow at Antrim Technology Park in Muckamore after reports of suspicious activity in the area late on Saturday.

Army bomb experts were called to the area and made the devices safe.

The find came less than 24 hours after guns and ammunition were recovered in another part of County Antrim.

Three guns and a quantity of bullets were seized after an alleged loyalist "show of strength" in Ballyclare on Friday night.

The haul, which included two handguns and a submachine gun, were found in a holdall hidden in a hedge in the Grange Drive area of the town.

The police said the arms find was part of a continuing operation.
