Bad night for Robbie

Robbie Williams: Villain of the year
Robbie Williams has scooped an unwanted treble at the NME music awards.

Stoke-on-Trent's most famous son was handed three less than complimentary accolades at the music magazine's annual awards on Thursday night.

Robbie came top in the Worst Album and Worst Single categories, for his releases Escapology and Feel.

He was also voted by NME readers as the Villain of the Year.

The multi-millionaire pop singer will have the last laugh however - Escapology was one of the best-selling albums of 2002.

Robbie, who is rumoured to have recently split from model Rachel Hunter, did not attend the ceremony at London's Astoria to collect his awards.
