Train services return to normal
London Paddington
All train services in and out of Paddington were stopped
Rail services in Oxfordshire and Berkshire have returned to normal following days of disruption.

The line between Oxford and Didcot reopened at 0600 GMT on Wednesday for the first time in five days.

Flooding in the Kennington area closed the line on Friday, causing cancellations and lengthy delays.

Services were further disrupted on Tuesday by a signalling failure in Paddington, affecting trains from Slough and Reading.

That problem has also now been resolved.

Services on First Great Western, Heathrow Express, Thames Trains, and Virgin Cross Country had to be cancelled on Tuesday due to problems at Paddington.

Network Rail, which is responsible for signalling, said the problem had now been fixed but warned there may still be some delays over Wednesday.
