| | Thursday, 26 December, 2002, 17:16 GMT Delays for rail passengers  Delays will last until Sunday Rail passengers between York and the north east of England are being warned they face serious delays. Engineering work starts on the east coast mainline at Skelton just north of York on Friday and will not be finished until Sunday. Passengers using Virgin Trains, GNER and Arriva Trains Northern services will be affected.
