Sheep killed in lorry crash
Sheep
The transporter was carrying more than 200 animals
A total of 40 sheep were killed in a three vehicle crash in Wiltshire.

Two cars collided before one of the vehicles careered into the path of the animal transporter near Chippenham.

The lorry, which was carrying 200 sheep, overturned on the A4 near Pewsham on Thursday night.

Vets and RSPCA officers joined the emergency services at the accident and specialist lifting equipment was also brought in to recover the lorry.

None of the drivers was injured and the road has reopened.
