Police renew festival riot appeal
Burning portakabin at the Carling music festival in Leeds
The rioting took two hours to bring under control
Police have re-appealed for help in catching 20 people wanted for their part in a riot at a Leeds music festival which left 44 people injured.

West Yorkshire police have released pictures of the group they want to question in connection with the violence.

A crowd of about 200 set fire to campsite toilets and it took more than two hours for police and site security to bring the violence under control.

Police have already arrested four people and believe a number of Scots were involved.

A police spokeswoman said they had received a good response from the public and have made a fresh appeal for information to help them to identify the remaining suspects.

"Information has been received suggesting that a number of people attending the event from Scotland may have been involved," she added.

"We would appeal for members of the public in the Lothian and Borders and Strathclyde areas to contact us if they have any information."

The festival was held at Temple Newsam, Leeds, over the August Bank holiday.

Police said the violence began when a number of people began pulling lighting down.

Small fires were then lit near the toilet blocks which were pulled over, before bricks and missiles were hurled at police.
