Heather shocks TV millions
Larry King and Heather Mills
Heather Mills gives Larry Kink her false leg
Sir Paul McCartney's Wearside-born wife Heather Mills left US chat legend Larry King stunned when she took off her false limb and popped it on his desk.

The campaigning former model from Washington, Tyne and Wear, then allowed him to touch her leg - but jokingly warned that Sir Paul would be upset with him.

The former newspaper columnist and author, took off her leg as they chatted about the false limb she had been left with as a result of a road accident.

She reassured the CNN presenter: "I hope this is not too dramatic, but it's just to show people."

The couple were married in an Irish castle

Heather, who married the former Beatle earlier this year in a ceremony at an Irish castle, also revealed she had wanted a "quiet, small" ceremony, but it was Sir Paul who wanted a major event.

She said: "Paul said `No, we're going to have a big wedding, it's going to be a big, white wedding, and I want the world to know I'm proud to be married to you.

"I was very flattered."

She told TV veteran King she still had "full feeling in the stump.

She added: "If you touch it, it makes me feel like my toes are completely opening.

"Paul's going to get upset you're touching my leg, Larry," she joked.

Heather Mills lost a leg in 1993 when she was hit by a police motorcycle and has enjoyed a high profile as an anti-landmines campaigner and charity fundraiser.
