The 110 students on the course at the University of East Anglia (UEA) in Norwich may have only been there a month, but they are already working on their bedside manner. Students hoping to become doctors at the UEA are learning the importance of people skills how important people skills are and how to deal with patients. The student will also learn about the scientific aspects of being a GP as the medical school operates in conjunction with the new Norfolk and Norwich University hospital where the trainee doctors have access to the latest technology. Relating to patients They are also getting training in Information Technology, which is playing a bigger role in modern medicine. Professor Sam Leinster, of the UEA, told the BBC: "We are putting a lot of emphasis on the relationship with patients. "The science is important. They will learn their science.
