| Wednesday, 2 October, 2002, 18:42 GMT 19:42 UK Woman killed in bus queue crash ![]() The driver is being questioned by police An elderly woman has been killed and five other people injured after a car crashed into a bus shelter in Lincolnshire. Police said a Vauxhall Cavalier left the road and crashed into the shelter opposite the Tesco filling station on Beaumont Street in Gainsborough at 1234 BST. Among the injured are three people from a local residential home and two children. The ambulance service said an elderly woman died at the scene. Driver arrested Three other pensioners, two women and a man, are being treated for serious injuries at Lincoln County Hospital. Officers say the group are from a local warden controlled complex in the town. It is understood two children, who were travelling in the car, were also slightly hurt and a man in his 30s was also injured.
