| Saturday, 27 July, 2002, 09:15 GMT 10:15 UK Prisoners flee from camping trip ![]() The four were inmates of a Young Offenders Institute Two prisoners are on the run after escaping during a camping trip in the Peak District. Four inmates of the Glen Parva Young Offenders Institution in Leicestershire fled in the early hours of Thursday morning while staying in the Glossop area. Two were later caught, but 21-year-olds Kieran Humphrey and Daniel Jeffrey are still at large. The pair were convicted of burglary, and are described as "non-violent offenders". All four are from Nottinghamshire or Derbyshire and had been due for release next spring. A Prison Service spokeswoman said: "Any person who goes on outside trips has been fully risk-assessed. "These trips are integral to a person's rehabilitation."
