What are you doing to make a difference?
Are you trying to make the world a better place? And if so, how? Share your experience with others.

BBC News Online wants to highlight grassroots activity in the UK.

Every day untold numbers of Britons give up some of their time to campaign for a myriad of causes; from a letter-writing campaign for a new village hall to protest marches against war.

Over the next few months BBC News Online wants to follow some of these efforts.

We want to know about the people who are actively working to change things. We want to share your experience of campaigning with others, and perhaps inspire them.

So if you are involved in a project that you think is worth highlighting then get in touch with us using the form below. We're not necessarily looking for big well-funded campaigns. We are particularly interested in the small issues that mean just as much to those affected.

So get in touch.

Tell us who you are and what you are aiming to do over the next four months. Most importantly, send us some contact details. These will not be published on the website, but will enable us to get in touch with you.

We will select a number of campaigns by the end of the year and will start following their ups and downs - and hopefully bring them to wider attention- in the New Year.

The submissions period is now closed. The final list of campaigns will be published shortly. Thank you to those who submitted details of their campaigns, and apologies if yours did not get selected this time.
