| Friday, 6 September, 2002, 19:48 GMT 20:48 UK Jordan is first fully interactive interviewee ![]() Jordan kept her clothes on throughout the interview Glamour model Jordan became the first celebrity to use a fully interactive studio at the BBC which is designed to bring the viewers closer to the stars. The model - real name Katie Price - took part in a webchat at BBCi's special studio at Bush House in central London, which has five full-length windows right onto the street. Members of the public will be able to send in questions by text message on their mobile phone as they walk by. Screens built into the glass will also allow them to try out many of the BBCi's interactive services. Forthcoming webchats will include football pundit and former Liverpool player Mark Lawrenson, astronomer Patrick Moore and newsreader Fiona Bruce. Here are a selection of the questions for Jordan and her replies: Jim: What is it like being a mum? Jordan: It's great being a mum. I love it, I wouldn't change it for anything. I really enjoy it.
Jordan: Yes I do get lots of fan mail. Somebody sent me a beetle in a matchbox, no idea what that was about. Not sure what that means, I thought it was a bit strange. I've had lots of nice letters recently though. John: What kind of music are you into? Jordan: I like everything apart from heavy metal and pan pipes! Paul: Would you like to appear in a soap like EastEnders and if so who would you play? Jordan: Hollyoaks would be better for me - I'd be a maneater in that. Tom: What did you want to be when you were growing up? Jordan: I always wanted to be a pop star or a model. So hopefully I'm achieving both of them at the moment. I'm in the studio at the moment and hopefully I'll have something out soon. Wait and see! George: Is this the most bizzare thing you've ever done if not what is? Jordan: I wouldn't like to reveal the most bizarre thing I've ever done. But this is quite weird too actually. Greg: Hiya Jordan, great to see you in the studio - what's it like being the first guest to launch the BBCi studio? Jordan: Scary, but good. I've been walking around, seeing what's going on really. I was being filmed too. Pete: What are your plans career wise over the next few months?
Anwen: Do you play or follow any sport? Jordan: I used to support Man Utd but I don't any more for obvious reasons. I like to play tennis and badminton too. Anthony: Are the rumours that you are moving to America true? Jordan: I'm not going to move to America but I might get a place out there. Everything seems to be looking good for me out there at the moment, I've got lots of offers. They seem to accept me and the way I am. | See also: 02 Aug 02 | Newsmakers 05 Aug 02 | Health Internet links: The BBC is not responsible for the content of external internet sites Top UK stories now: Links to more UK stories are at the foot of the page. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
