State rejects pension 'bankruptcy' claim
Pensioner collection pension
Pensioners were "distressed" over the claims

Senator Paul Routier, of the Employment and Social Security Committee, said enough cash has been built up in the pension fund to help in unforeseen circumstances.

He said over the last five years, contributions to the fund had been increased.
