Louise Bonsall had her first baby last May |
The girlfriend of soccer star Michael Owen is recovering in hospital after falling from her horse in the grounds of their Flintshire home. Louise Bonsall, 23, is recovering in hospital after fracturing her pelvis in the accident.
She was riding in the grounds of the couple's home, Lower Soughton Hall, near Mold in Flintshire.
Miss Bonsall, who gave birth to the couple's first baby Gemma Rose last May, was taken to hospital in Chester immediately after Sunday's accident.
The England striker, who is recovering from a series of injuries which have kept him largely out of the Liverpool side since last October, has been at her bedside.

He missed the side's 2-0 win over Yeovil in the FA Cup at the weekend.
The couple have been together since they met at primary school in Hawarden.
Owen's agent said Ms Bonsall fell after her horse reared during her ride at the 1.6m mansion.
"Louise was riding her horse in the grounds of her home when she fell off," he said.
"It seems the horse reared. Louise has a fractured pelvis and is undergoing further tests."
The footballer is a keen racing fan who owns two horses and often attends race meetings with his family.

Meanwhile, the couple are hoping to put up a three-storey building to house a new garage and games room at the Grade II listed Flintshire mansion.
Flintshire County Council are to consider the application on Wednesday, but officials are recommending it is rejected.
They say the scale and style of the new building would be out of keeping with the imposing original Victorian architecture.
