A galaxy of music stars dazzled thousands of music fans at Radio 1's free two-day music festival in Cardiff. The Chemical Brothers and Basement Jaxx topped the bill on Saturday, as dance music fans flocked to One Big Weekend at Coopers Field.
On Sunday, chart favourites Pink and Dido took over, alongside Travis, The Thrills, Starsailor and rock newcomers The Darkness.
Around 20,000 people attended the all-ticket event over the weekend, which will also be broadcast on Radio 1.
Seb Fontaine, Nic Fanciulli, Erick Morillo and Sander Kleinenberg are among the DJs performing on the opening dance day.
American pop superstar Pink, whose hits include Just Like a Pill, Family Portrait and Let Me Get Me, was one of the biggest names appearing on Sunday,
Also on the line-up were The Thrills, who recently surged into the chart with the single Big Sur, and drum and bass act Kosheen and Starsailor.
The Darkness, who are currently topping the album chart with their debut Permission to Land, also appeared.
Completing the list were solo singer Dido, and popular indie band Starsailor and Scottish stars Travis.
Jason Carter, executive producer of live music and events for Radio One, said the appetite for big concerts had never been bigger.
"It is an exciting time for bands and live music," he said.

"We think that any festival that our target audience would go to would be proud of the bill that we have pulled together." p> He added that the build-up for the event had been smooth. "The last time we did one of these earlier this year in Manchester we had torrential downpour on the week leading into it, but no such problems in Cardiff I can report," he said.
Radio One also held One Big Weekend concerts in Manchester in May and One Big Sunday gig in Leicester in July.
