Jackpot winner urged to check ticket
Lotto graphic
A winning lottery ticket from south Wales worth nearly 2m is still unclaimed four weeks after the draw.

The ticket was bought somewhere in Torfaen for the draw on 30 November.

Winning Numbers
6, 7, 20, 29, 37, 39

The six numbers were pulled out in the Lotto main draw, and a jackpot prize of 1,971,095 has been allocated for the ticket holder.

Camelot - which runs the Lotto - has urged people in the area to check their numbers.

Jacquie Wilson from the company said: "It looks like, during the run-up to Christmas, somebody has forgotten to check their Lotto ticket.

"We are urging players to look for their old tickets as winning this prize would make fantastic start to the New Year.

Someone could be sitting on a fortune and they don't even know it

Jacquie Wilson, Camelot

"I would particularly encourage players to check through all their Christmas shopping receipts as the ticket may have been accidentally mixed up with them.

"Someone could be sitting on a fortune and they don't even know it," she added.

The ticket holder has 180 days from the draw date to claim the money.

If the cash is not collected, it will be added to the Good Causes fund which provides money for the arts, sports, charities, heritage, millennium projects and education, health and environment.

Currently there is 46.6m within the 180-day deadline including six jackpot prizes worth over 10m.

The winner from Torfaen has until 29 May 2003 to collect the prize money.

If you think you hold the winning ticket contact the National Lottery line on 0845 910 0000
