The final instalment of a Battle of Culloden re-enactment has been filmed in the Borders. Dozens of actors and extras played out the closing scenes on Saturday at Lauder Common, which was used because the actual site is a war grave.
Filming had to be postponed last month because of the extreme cold weather.
The five-minute re-enactment will be shown at a new 9m visitor centre which opens in September next to the famous battleground near Inverness.
The footage will be used to create an "immersion experience" of the battle, which effectively ended Jacobite hopes of restoring the exiled Stuart dynasty to the throne of Britain.
