Aberdeen football captain Mark Kerr has been fined £250 after an incident at a city nightclub.

The Pittodrie club's skipper admitted breach of the peace by acting in a disorderly manner during a disturbance last May.

Kerr, who was fined at Aberdeen Sheriff Court, arrived on a free transfer from Dundee United and was later appointed the team's captain.

A spokesman for Aberdeen Football Club declined to comment on the case.
