Lee McAllister
Lee McAllister is known as the Aberdeen Assassin
Aberdeen boxer Lee McAllister is set for the most important fight of his life on home territory.

The so-called Aberdeen Assassin is bidding for the WBU lightweight title against former Commonwealth champion Craig Docherty from Glasgow.

McAllister said: "It's the biggest fight of my career. The crowd is always behind me and I am ready to do the job. I am a confident person."

The fight is at Aberdeen's Beach Ballroom on Saturday night.

He added: "He's tough. At the end of the day, there will be a world champion coming out of Scotland, which is good for Scotland."
