Four turbines have been planned for the site |
A hearing will be held into a plan for four wind turbines at Druim Fada, near Corpach, in Lochaber. The proposal attracted 99 letters - 85 of them objections - to Edinburgh-based North British Windpower's project. Concerns raised in the letters included its impact on the landscape and tourism. Members of Highland Council's Ross, Skye and Lochaber planning applications committee will visit the site ahead of the meeting, on 25 August. RSPB Scotland and Scottish Natural Heritage have not opposed the development.
