Turbine proposals given go-ahead

Two wind farm projects have been approved by Scottish Ministers, which will supply about 43,000 homes.

The 29-turbine Berry Burn scheme will be built on Altyre Estate, near Forres, in Moray.

Six more turbines have been given the go-ahead to the 20-turbine Millennium Wind Farm site at Fort Augustus.

The Scottish Government said construction would provide work for 100 people and, once completed, five full-time jobs.
