Inquiry into cell death adjourned
A fatal accident inquiry into the death of a climber in prison has been adjourned until 7 January, 2008.

Alan Mullin, 34, from Easter Ross, committed suicide in Inverness's Porterfield Prison in March.

An inquiry at Inverness Sheriff Court began this week. So far it has heard evidence from his wife Marion and police officers.

Mr Mullin had been imprisoned after he was arrested for breach of the peace in February.

His arrest followed a police siege at his home. He appeared in court the following day and was remanded in custody at Porterfield Prison.
