Extra �7m home help for Highlands
More than �7m in extra government funding is to be spent on providing affordable housing in the Highlands.

It will be used to ensure progress in existing projects and to buy land for 174 new homes.

The Scottish Executive is investing the money through its housing and regeneration agency Communities Scotland.

Communities Minister Malcolm Chisholm said it brings spending in the area to �38.9m.
