Work begins on affordable homes
Work has started on building of 14 new affordable homes in Conon Bridge in Ross-shire.

Scottish Executive agency Communities Scotland provided the funding for the properties.

The development by the Albyn Housing Society is being built on the site of the town's former school.

A spokesman for Communities Scotland said when completed it will provide local people with much-needed quality affordable housing for rent.
