Skye gears up for music festival

Scotland's KT Tunstall will be among the acts at the festival
The countdown has begun to next weekend's Isle of Skye Music Festival.

Electronic pop duo Sparks, the Fun Lovin' Criminals and Brit Award winner KT Tunstall will be among the acts over 16 and 17 June.

Facilities at Ashaig Airstrip in Broadford will include a marquee with a television showing World Cup games.

Other acts confirmed include Mylo, The Upper Room, Skye Edwards, Aberfeldy, The Long Blondes, The Peatbog Faeries and The Young Knives.

Among the artists who will be performing on the Friday are DJ Mes, Ralph Lawson, Erol Alkan, Whomadewho, Mylo and Justin Robertson.

Saturday's line-up will feature Sparks, the Fun Lovin' Criminals, KT Tunstall, The Cuban Brothers, The Upper Room, Skye Edwards, Aberfeldy, The Young Knives and The Peatbog Faeries.
