Virus-hit wards remain restricted
Several wards at hospitals in the greater Glasgow area remain closed, following an outbreak of sickness and diarrhoea.

Admissions have been suspended to three wards at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley, and four at Glasgow's Victoria Infirmary.

Health bosses said the situation was being monitored and additional measures had been put in place.

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde hospitals are admitting patients in other areas.

Patient visitors at the Victoria Infirmary have been restricted to two at the most and anyone who has experienced diarrhoea or vomiting in the last 48 hours has been asked to stay away from the hospital.
