TOLLCROSS LEISURE CENTRE
Tollcross has an international standard 50m pool. The complex would be extended to create a 50m, four lane warm-up pool and provide seating for up to 5,500 spectators.
HAMPDEN PARK
Hampden Park would be home to track and field. The stadium would be modified to accommodate an international standard athletics track and provide seating for 46,000 fans.
KELVINGROVE BOWLING GREENS
Kelvingrove Bowls Complex would host the lawn bowls competition. The five bowling greens where competitors would play are in the shadow of Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum.
NATIONAL INDOOR SPORTS ARENA AND VELODROME
The National Indoor Sports Arena will be built irrespective of Glasgow's bid adjacent to a Velodrome, a new home for Scottish cycling. Both could be in place by 2010.
SCOTTISH EXHIBITION AND CONFERENCE CENTRE
The SECC campus including five main halls, the Armadillo and a new entertainments venue would be used throughout the games for sports such as netball and as a media village.
ATHLETES' VILLAGE
About 1,000 new homes would be built near to the National Indoor Sports Arena and Velodrome to accommodate athletes and officials. These would be sold after the Games.
STRATHCLYDE PARK
Just 20 minutes from the Athletes' Village, Strathclyde Park would host the triathlon during the Games. The park is a world renowned rowing course and already hosts major international events.
