Cash daughter's Celtic Connection
Clannad, Mary Chapin Carpenter and Rosanne Cash are among the artists booked to appear at next year's Celtic Connections festival in Glasgow.

The programme is the first under new artistic consultant Donald Shaw, who replaced the festival's founding director Colin Hynd.

The festival will open on 17 January with a charity concert for children affected by the 2004 Asian tsunami.

Celtic Connections includes traditional music and Americana.
