A 17-year-old girl has become one of Britain's youngest Lotto winners after scooping �1.5m. Lisa Dougan, from Torphichen, West Lothian, hit the jackpot in the Wednesday night draw.
The teenager, who is studying sport and leisure at West Lothian College in Livingston, picked up her �1,568,212 cheque in Glasgow on Monday.
The youngest winners were both 16 - Tracy Makin who won �1.1m in 1998 and Callie Rogers who won �1.8m in 2003.
A spokeswoman for Camelot said it was contacted on Saturday and verified Lisa's lucky numbers of 5, 16, 30, 38, 42 and 43.
The teenager, who shared the jackpot with one other winner, was taken by chauffeur-driven car from her home to pick up her cheque.
The Camelot spokeswoman said: "We are absolutely thrilled for her, as we are for all our winners.
"This young girl is one of our top six youngest winners."
Stuart Donnelly, 17, from Glasgow, won �1.9m in November, 1997.
