Talks have resumed between Conservative and Liberal Democrat negotiators to try and form a government, following last week's inconclusive general election result.
Lib Dem leader Nick Clegg has confirmed party leaders are "working flat out" to reach a deal as soon as possible.
Speaking to reporters at Whitehall, the Tories' William Hague said his team was ''optimistic'' about the prospects of a deal.
