Gordon Brown's rally address in full

Gordon Brown has addressed a Labour rally in the West Midlands where he launched the party election campaign slogan, "a future fair for all".

The prime minister opened his speech by paying tribute to senior cabinet ministers, saying he was proud to be part of an "experienced" team, while the Conservatives were down to a "team of one".
