Tony Blair tells inquiry UK military were 'up for Iraq'

Tony Blair has said the scale of the UK's contribution to Iraq was entirely up to Britain to decide, and UK military chiefs were "up for doing it".

He said both he and his military advisers "would prefer to be right at the centre of things... alongside our principal ally", and President Bush had "very much left this to us, to decide what we wanted to do".
