Cameron defends benefits plan

David Cameron has defended Tory proposals to cut the number of people claiming incapacity benefit by putting those deemed capable of working onto jobseekers' allowance instead.

He said a "compassionate society should look after" people who genuinely cannot work, but his party would give those who can work "the tailored help and support" to find a job.
