The Business Secretary, Lord Mandelson, has said Labour is in "the fight of our lives" but "can come back" to win the next election under Gordon Brown's leadership.
He told delegates at the party's annual conference that voters had a choice of "experience and change" with Gordon Brown or "shallowness" with David Cameron.
