Tories challenge Iraq inquiry

The scope of the inquiry into the Iraq war has been challenged by the Conservatives in the Commons.

They have accused Gordon Brown of "uncertainty and confusion" about the subject.

The Tories are calling for a public inquiry after the Prime Minister said most hearings would be held in private.

Shadow foreign secretary William Hague said the government had performed "a U-turn".
