Labour's deputy leader Harriet Harman has welcomed the admission by Hazel Blears that she regrets "enormously" the timing of her resignation, just before local and European elections.
The former communities secretary admitted it was ''stupid'' to wear wearing a brooch saying "rocking the boat" the day after she left the cabinet. She said she also regretted mocking the prime minister's YouTube video.
