Byrne defends Brown

A senior Labour MP, Barry Sheerman, has called for a secret ballot among his fellow Labour MPs to see if there is still confidence in Gordon Brown's leadership.

But Cabinet Minister Liam Byrne says the Prime Minister is getting on with the job.
