Calls for Speaker to resign

The Speaker of the House of Commons, Michael Martin, is under more pressure after the Liberal Democrat leader Nick Clegg called on him to resign.

Mr Clegg said Parliament needed a "fresh start" after the row over MPs expenses, with a new Speaker who would push through radical reforms.
