Carswell: Westminster is not working

Conservative MP Douglas Carswell has said the Commons Speaker Michael Martin must resign in the midst of the expenses crisis gripping Parliament.

Mr Carswell, who is expected to table a motion of no confidence in the Mr Martin on Monday, has told the BBC that he feels that the Speaker must ensure MPs 'answer to the voters'.
