Woolas: Items on receipts not claimed

The Daily Telegraph has alleged that Immigration Minister Phil Woolas breached parliamentary rules by claiming expenses for personal items.

Mr Woolas says he submitted receipts which included items such as nappies, comics and women's clothing, but never claimed money for them.

He told the BBC he could see how the issue may make a good story, "but it does not stand up to investigation".
