Brown visits Derby on UK tour

Gordon Brown has begun a three-day tour of the UK starting with a visit to Rolls Royce in Derby.

Here, the Prime Minister announced a �140 million scheme to create 35,000 new apprenticeships to help enhance the skills base of the UK's workforce.

The BBC's Hugh Pym also visited Derby to gauge how the current economic downturn is affecting business.
