Tories welcome welfare plans

The unemployed could lose up to a week's state benefit, if they refuse to take part in schemes to help them find jobs under new proposals.

Shadow Work and Pensions Secretary Chris Grayling welcomed the new plans which he said were Conservative proposals originally.
